Northern Ireland midfielder Steven Davis remains positive despite the country's 3-0 home international friendly loss to Norway on Wednesday.
Havard Nordtveit's deflected effort opened the scoring before late strikes from Tarik Elyounoussi and Espen Ruud sealed the victory.
It was Michael O'Neill's first match in charge of the nation and Rangers man Davis says it is 'early days' under their new man.
Davies felt the scoreline was harsh on O'Neill's men, although he believes there were plenty of positives to take from the contest.
"It's still early days under Michael, we've only had a couple of training sessions and I thought that was evident," commented Davis.
"I am a little bit disappointed to come away with a 3-0 defeat. I thought that was a little bit harsh on us.
"There was stuff that we worked on in training that we did really well in the first half - keeping our shape and restricting them where they couldn't play through us, so they had to go long.
"We were unlucky with the first goal and we were maybe cut open towards the end, but there are a lot of positives to take from it."
