Dorman in push for promotion

Bristol Rovers must use their remaining matches to build momentum for a promotion push next term, says midfielder Andy Dorman.

Rovers have enjoyed an improved run of results in 2012 following a disastrous start to the campaign, which saw former manager Paul Buckle sacked after his team dropped as low as 19th in npower League Two. With promotion now all but impossible for the Pirates, on-loan Dorman thinks the 13 fixtures Rovers have left to play provide a superb chance to build a launching pad for a serious promotion challenge next time around. "Getting momentum up ready for next season would be a good way to approach it," he said. "If we can keep going and keep getting the results we want and keep winning games then it will be a positive way to end the season and look forward to the next one. "It's been a tough season but we need to make sure we finish it well."
