Ashley Williams has urged his team-mates to go on to make sure this current Swansea side go down in history as one of the best ever at the club.
Victory over wealthy table-toppers Manchester City at the weekend inched the Welsh side closer to safety and the possibility of a top-half finish at their first attempt.
The Wales defender hailed it as the best result of their season so far and one of the best moments of his career which includes a winning play-off final at Wembley and captaining his country.
The result was a far cry from the 4-0 mauling that Swansea suffered at the hands of City on the opening day of the campaign and shows just how much they have improved.
But Williams insists the job to secure another season in the top-flight is not yet done and warned the rest of the Swansea players not to rest on their laurels.
"It would be nice to look back on this spell now and say it's a golden era," said the centre-back. "We've got a good squad and a good manager so hopefully we will.
"Sunday's result is right up there as one of the top two or three highlights of my career. Manchester City are one of the richest clubs in the world.
"I think we deserved it. We defended really well and we were good on the ball.
"When you get a clean sheet against world-class players, it's something you can take away with you.
"Some of their players are unbelievable. We saw what they could do in the first game of the season.
"After that game it was nice to shut them out and keep a clean sheet. It's one we can all enjoy, but the main thing is we got another three points.
"I'm not really interested if we're safe yet, I'm trying to look forward not back. We've got to keep going until we're mathematically safe and once we are we can pick off the sides that are ahead of us."
