QPR midfielder Joey Barton has said his side must push on and forget about Clint Hill's effort against Bolton last weekend which was not given.
Hill headed in from a Barton corner in last Saturday's 2-1 loss against Bolton, but neither the referee nor his assistant saw the ball had crossed the line
The former Newcastle player feels his side must put the incident behind them and concentrate on their remaining Premier League fixtures as they battle to beat the drop.
Barton told the club's
official website: "It's important you don't dwell too much on these things as it can have a negative impact.

"We haven't really spoken in any great length about it. I think each player went away from that game and sought solace in whatever way worked for the individual."
QPR are currently 18th in the Premier League with just one win from their last 10 games, and Barton is aiming to help his club's survival bid starting next Wednesday against Liverpool.
He continued: "These results are hurting everyone in our dressing room without a shadow of a doubt but there is no point feeling sorry for ourselves. That is not going to help our situation.
"We have made concerted efforts to focus on the next challenge, and that challenge is against Liverpool on Wednesday night."
