Spurs striker says recovering Bolton midfielder is in good form

Emmanuel Adebayor says Fabrice Muamba is recovering well after visiting the Bolton midfielder in hospital on Tuesday. The 23-year-old remains in the intensive care unit at the London Chest Hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest at Tottenham at the weekend. Spurs striker Adebayor has been among those visiting Muamba and he said his friend is doing well. Adebayor told Sky Sports News: "He's in good form and he's well.

Much better

"He's much better, he can recognise people and he can talk. "We just have to keep praying for him. Now we have to see how he goes in the next couple of days." He thanked God for Muamba's progress, adding it was a big relief. "He's a strong guy. I think he has been through a lot of things during the last two days but he is back to normal, he's trying to talk normal and he's acting normal which is very important."
