Dundee United striker sustains serious knee injury
Dundee United striker Milos Lacny is set to be sidelined for a number of months after suffering a serious knee injury.
The Slovakian joined United on a 12-month loan deal in January from Sparta Prague and has scored one goal in six appearances off the bench.
However, he is now facing a long wait for his next opportunity after scans showed the extent of a problem he picked up in training.
Dundee United manager Peter Houston told STV: "Milos hurt himself in training and he has a partial tear of his cruciate ligament.
"We are going to be missing him for quite a few months now."
