Winger confident Benfica can keep Chelsea quiet

Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan claims to see 'anxiety' in the Chelsea camp ahead of their UEFA Champions League trip to Portugal. The Blues are due at Estadio da Luz on Tuesday for the first leg of a quarter-final showdown in Europe's premier club competition. Benfica have surprised many with their run through to the last eight, but the Portuguese outfit are full of confidence having already helped to dispose of Manchester United from continental competition. They are now eyeing another Premier League scalp and Gaitan claims the goal struggles of Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres could play into the home side's hands. The Argentina international said in The Sun: "I think there is an anxiety in Chelsea by the lack of goals from Torres and Drogba. "We can exploit that and even though it will be difficult to stop them, it is possible and I have confidence we will keep a clean sheet. "Benfica are having a good season in Europe. This is our main strength against Chelsea. "The squad is convinced we can create chances and we play without fear against anyone."

Focused

Both sides head into their midweek outing on the back of domestic goalless draws, with Chelsea having been held by Tottenham and Benfica by Olhanense. Gaitan added: "Both teams failed to score this weekend in the domestic leagues, but that is just luck. "It wasn't the Champions League game which caused the 0-0 scores. "We are very focused in this knockout game because, for us, those are the matches of the year. To get into the semi-finals is to fulfil the first part of our European dream. "The tie is very open and without a clear favourite. Chelsea are, of course, strong in Europe but we are not inferior to them."
