Adlene Guedioura considers Nottingham Forest to be his future, with it his intention to help the club to Championship survival and earn a permanent stay.
The Algerian midfielder linked up with the Reds in January after completing a loan switch from Wolves.
Having been frozen out of the first-team picture at Molineux, the 26-year-old is relishing the opportunity to take in regular football at the City Ground.
His all-action displays have helped to make him a firm favourite with the Forest faithful and all concerned are hoping their bond will not be broken in the summer.
Guedioura admits he would welcome the opportunity to join the Reds full-time, with his passion for football having been rekindled on Trentside.
Ahead of Saturday's crucial clash with fellow strugglers Bristol City, he said: "Wolves is in the past and I'm only looking forward with Forest.
"Everyone here - the staff, gaffer, players and fans - have been really good to me and taken to me so quickly.
"They have been true after saying I would play regularly. They have made me feel welcome. It's easy to fit in."
