Adlene Guedioura has hailed the impact of manager Steve Cotterill for guiding Nottingham Forest to the verge of safety in the Championship.
Forest are within touching distance of guaranteeing their survival and could have it confirmed on Tuesday night against Reading.
A win over the Royals would make them safe, while a defeat would also be enough if Coventry also lost at home to Millwall.
Cotterill joined Forest when they were firmly mired in a relegation dogfight and Guedioura believes the City Ground chief deserves the plaudits for leading the side away from trouble at the wrong end of the table.
Guedioura, who joined Forest on loan from Wolves in January, has played a key role in Forest's resurgence with a number of impressive displays and he has enjoyed playing under Cotterill.

"The manager has been very good with me. When I first came here he showed they were going to play me and helped my confidence.
"That's what I like and I am enjoying my football and I have to thank him for introducing me so quickly in the team and thank all the staff.
"He tries to give us confidence and keeps us focused as it is a big thing to stay in the Championship.
"He has also given us a way to play football and I think it is down to the gaffer and staff that we are where we are at the minute close to safety.
"We were under a lot of pressure, but the management have given us the confidence to stay up."
