Millwall have offered midfielder Josh Wright a new contract to extend his stay at the Den.
Wright has impressed since arriving at Millwall as a free agent in November but his current deal runs out in the summer.
Lions boss Kenny Jackett is now keen to secure the former Charlton and Scunthorpe man on a long-term deal.
"The first thing is that we have to finish off our season and while all of these questions are coming up, the most important thing for me at the moment is Ipswich and Blackpool," Jackett told News Shopper.
"But has Josh been offered a contract? The answer is yes.
"He has brought a little bit of composure on the ball in midfield since he came in."
