Kieran Gibbs has called for a big effort from Arsenal in the final three games of the season as they bid to secure third place in the Premier League.
The battle for European qualification has been keenly fought all season and there are four teams still in contention for the final two spots in the top four behind Manchester United and Manchester City.
Arsenal currently lead the race but Newcastle are just three points further back with a game in hand, narrowly ahead of Tottenham and Chelsea.
Gibbs accepts that it could go down to the wire but is happy that the Gunners are still in control of their own destiny.
Anything can happen
He is now targeting maximum points against Stoke, Norwich and West Brom to make sure Arsenal stay ahead of their rivals.
"It has been tight all season. A lot of teams are competing and anything can happen," the full-back told Arsenal Player.
"We have to finish the season strongly. The way we see it is that if we win our three games then we secure our position. We have three cup finals left to play.
"We shouldn't lose focus now. We have nine points to win, and we have a position to secure for next season. We must do that."
