Hibernian's loan star Matt Doherty hopes that his performances are not going unnoticed elsewhere after helping the club reach the Scottish Cup final.
The 20-year-old defender has impressed since joining on loan from Premier League strugglers Wolves in January, making 12 appearances and scoring his first senior goal.
The highly-rated full-back made his Premier League debut for the Black Country outfit back in September and has told Sky Sports that he is determined to force his way into the first team back at Molineux next season.
"I've played in the Premier League once, against Liverpool, and in a fair few FA Cup and Carling Cup games, but it is completely different to playing regular first-team games," he said.
"I settled in quickly at the start before going through a brief period where I struggled a little bit, but that is the experience I was sent out to gain here.
"I've helped Hibernian get into the cup final and I'm really looking forward to the last five games and the big day at Hampden Park.
"I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here and have adjusted well to living away from my family and friends over the past few months.
"Obviously, Wolves sadly got relegated at the weekend, but whether they were going to be playing in the Championship or not I'd fully expect to be challenging more for a first-team opportunity there next season.
"I'm 20 now and have gained the experience I was sent out on loan to get, but I would hope to be playing a lot more games for Wolves next season.
"When I first came over to Wolves I never expected to be involved as much as I have been, but I'm in my second season at the club and have played a lot more games so my confidence and ambitions are rising all the time.
"I also have big ambitions of breaking into the Republic of Ireland under-21s squad and hope that my performances for both Wolves and Hibs will show that I am ready for a call-up."
