Former Premier League full-back Nicky Hunt has become Rotherham's fourth signing of the summer.

Hunt, who finished last season with Preston, has signed a pre-contract agreement to join the Millers when his current deal expires on June 30. The right-back, 28, was a regular in the Premier League for Bolton until 2010, making over 100 league appearances for the Trotters and several in the Europa League. He joined Bristol City in the summer of 2010 and spent 18 months at Ashton Gate before moving to Preston in January. Hunt has been quick to praise some of the manager's other signings, telling the club's official website: "I know a couple of the lads, like Kayode Odejayi and Daniel Nardiello who I played against in League One last year. "They are good players and hopefully there will be some more to come."
