Former Leeds United winger Lloyd Sam would be interested in returning to Notts County, but has not been offered a contract by the League One club. Sam is available on a free transfer after being released by Leeds and he scored five goals in 10 appearances on loan at County last season. He held talks with Magpies boss Keith Curle earlier in the summer, but is still waiting to secure a new club ahead of the start of the season. "A lot of Notts fans have been asking me on Twitter if I'm going to come back," the 27-year-old told the Nottingham Evening Post. "I've even been getting a bit of abuse because some of them think I've turned down an offer to come back, but there has not been an offer made. "They showed some interest at the start of the summer and I spoke to them, but that's it. "I had a great time last season so if they want to make me an offer, we can take it from there. "I've already spoken to the kit man and had a joke with him about the No.7 shirt."
