Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka look set to stay at Shanghai Shenhua after coach Sergio Batista revealed the problems behind the scenes have been resolved.
Doubts were raised about the future of the club's star players when it was suggested that billionaire investor Zhu Jun would be withholding salaries unless he was granted majority control.
With Drogba also having left China on international duty with Ivory Coast, speculation grew that the former Chelsea forward would not be returning to Shanghai.
Speaking ahead of Saturday's home match against Liaoning Whowin, coach Batista admitted: "Nicolas will start. As for the other two, Didier and Giovanni (Moreno), I have not seen them."
Batista did confirm that the players were in China, before adding: "I guess that means the problem has basically been resolved."
He added: "When they arrive, I will communicate with them and see what their condition is, and decide whether they will take the field."
Goalkeeping coach Ian Walker, the former England international, confirmed: "Some of the players have been away. Everybody's back. It should be OK."
Drogba's salary is believed to be one of the highest in world football and if Zhu Jun went ahead with his threat to "only pay for foreign players based on his own stake" it had been suggested that the striker would leave.
