Rangers striker wants supporters to retain faith in them

Rangers striker Francisco Sandaza has asked the club's fans to be patient with the team. The Glasgow giants have made a disappointing start to life in the Scottish third division, picking up just nine points from five matches so far. The Gers have yet to win away from home, but Sandaza is confident that they will find their rhythm soon.

Pressure

"There is higher pressure and the supporters want results immediately but it's a new team and I want them to be a bit patient with us," said the 27-year-old. "We are on our way and I'm sure the results will come. It's only September, it has only been one month. "We were not happy with the result at the weekend [goalless draw at Annan Athletic] and we didn't play very well. "But it's a project, we have to get settled and there are many new players. I have confidence that we will do well soon. "We are doing the right things, in the right way, and I'm not panicking or frustrated. "The results will come - I'm sure of that. We want to achieve good things this year. We need a bit of time but I think we are doing the right things."
