Nikola Zigic left out of Birmingham squad due to tactics not transfer talk
Birmingham striker Nikola Zigic's absence against Bolton was only due to match tactics, according to Terry McDermott.

The Serbian, who was linked with a summer move to Spain before eventually staying at St Andrew's, found himself completely out of boss Lee Clark's plans on Tuesday night.
Zigic has found the net twice despite just one Championship start, coming off the bench in his only other two appearances to bag goals against Charlton Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday.
But Clark's assistant manager, McDermott, has insisted his height was not required in the 2-1 win over Bolton, with Leroy Lita and Marlon King preferred in attack and Peter Lovenkrands and Akwasi Asante among the substitutes.
"Ziggy just wasn't selected for the game - the manager decided to go with a little bit more pace," said McDermott.
"It was just a tactical thing. He is fit. It was just the manager's choice."
