Portsmouth defender Gabor Gyepes hopes he can eventually sign a long-term deal at the club after enjoying his start to life at Fratton Park.
Return
The Hungarian is not ruling out a return to his homeland at some point in the future but is content in England for now.
He added: "One day I may go back to Hungary but it's not the right time for that.
"I've not given up on getting back into the Hungarian national team but I have to reach that level again."
Centre-back Gyepes has netted a goal in each of his last three League One games for Pompey and says his scoring prowess is a source of amusement for him and his team-mates.
He said: "I don't put emphasis on my last three goals. Me and the others just laugh about it because I'm a central defender but I may be sold to a new club as a striker.
"I feel that I'm playing better game by game and that inspires me more than my goals."
