Hull striker Sone Aluko reckons his game has flourished since his return to English football. The 23-year-old failed to live up to expectations after bursting on to the scene at Birmingham, but following spells north of the border with Aberdeen and Rangers is relishing his roving role in Steve Bruce's attacking line-up. Aluko, who has scored three goals in 11 appearances since joining Hull in the summer, told the club's official website: "It's a role I'm happy to play because it gives me the opportunity to create goals and try and score some goals myself. It's a free role, but with a fair amount of responsibility attached. "I'm quite happy with my contribution so far and I've created a few goals and scored three myself. But we all have to stay on our toes and make sure our performance levels are high." Hull take on Ipswich at the KC Stadium after the international break on Saturday and Aluko cannot wait to return to action. "We're really enjoying playing at home and it's special when we win at the KC Stadium," he added. "I think the fans have enjoyed a lot of what they've seen at home this season and the style of football we've been playing."
