The 33-year-old is no longer considered to be a first-team regular by the Bundesliga giants, with opportunities having dwindled this season.
Tymoshchuk admits the situation he faces is far from ideal, with it important for him to be playing games at this stage of his career.
The Ukraine international is reluctant to speculate on what the New Year may hold, but admits he will be open to offers if clubs wish to make an approach for his services.
"I am a Bayern player at the moment," Tymoshchuk told FIFA's official website.
"The transfer window is closed and I am not a free agent.
"During the winter break I will have to think about it, consider all proposals and make a decision.
"Of course, I am not happy with my situation at the moment."
Tymoshchuk, who joined Bayern in the summer of 2009, is under contract at the Allianz Arena until June 2013.
