Striker unsure over his future

Leon Clarke has thanked the Scunthorpe fans for their support following the end of his successful loan spell at Glanford Park. Striker Clarke has returned to Charlton after the end of his three-month loan spell at Scunthorpe. Clarke scored 11 goals in 15 appearances for the Iron and he admits he fully enjoyed his stay at the League One outfit. "I really enjoyed my time at Scunthorpe and I just wish I could have left them in a better league position," Clarke told skysports.com. "I just want to say thank-you to all the supporters at Scunthorpe and all the staff for making me so welcome during my stay." Clarke faces an uncertain future following his return to Charlton as he is well down the pecking order at the Valley and the 27-year-old hopes he can resolve his long-term future soon. "I am going back to Charlton and I really don't know what's going to happen, but I hope something can get sorted soon," added Clarke.
