Huddersfield manager Mark Robins will not make a decision on whether to offer loan striker James Vaughan a permanent deal until the end of the season.
Robins, meanwhile, has no problem with Jermaine Beckford's decision to join up with the Jamaica squad this week for their two World Cup qualifiers against Costa Rica and Panama. Beckford, on loan from Leicester, made his first appearance in two months as a second-half substitute at Leeds. The 29-year-old, sidelined for 10 games with a hamstring injury, has yet to make his first appearance for Jamaica with whom he qualifies through family connections. "He wants to play and there's a break and he hasn't played for a while and he wants to go and play for his country," said Robins. "The good thing for us is he's back playing. He's looked sharp in training. "He's worked hard to get back and he's been out a long time. I think it's the first time he's been out for such a lengthy period, so it will be new to him. "He'll be making up for lost time and he wants to go and play and we'll welcome him back in two weeks." Robins added: "The introduction of Jermaine (against Leeds) was a big lift. His movement for the second goal gave James Vaughan the space to put the ball away. "He will go away with Jamaica now for a week and hopefully he will stay fit." Jamaica are scheduled to play Panama on March 22 in Kingston before travelling to play Costa Rica at the Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica four days later.
