Gary Bowyer has been placed in caretaker charge of Rovers for a second time after the club parted ways with Michael Appleton last month.
Appleton was the third manager to leave the club this season following the exits of Steve Kean in September and Henning Berg in December.
Rovers are not yet clear of the relegation scrap at the foot of the Championship and Murphy says their survival will be influential to whether players stay on at Ewood Park next term.
He also hopes the club appoint Bowyer on a permanent basis despite only making one appearance under the interim boss so far since Appleton's departure.
Murphy, who has a year remaining on his Rovers contract, told the Lancashire Telegraph: "We need stay in the division and then depending on who the new manager is and how the club is going to move forward will decide what certain players do - myself included.
"I've got another year left on my contract, I'm happy to stay and try to build a promotion push next season.
"The way Gary and Terry (McPhillips) have gone, I would personally leave them in charge.
"They know the club, they care about the club and you can't argue with what they've done in the 10 or 11 games they've been in charge."
Murphy admits the number of managerial changes this season have been frustrating but feels much-criticised owners Venky's have good intentions.
"I spoke to them when I signed and in my opinion their intent is very good and they are decent people," said the midfielder.
"There have been too many people within the hierarchy all making different decisions and that leads to anarchy a little bit.
"I think when you go through the instability we've had this season and the number of managers we've had, you don't give yourself a chance.
"I thought I'd seen it all, I thought I'd been around the block but this has been eye opening for me this season if I'm honest."
