New PFA Scotland Player of the Year Michael Higdon spends night in police custody
Motherwell striker Michael Higdon spent the night in police custody after winning the PFA Scotland Player of Year award.

Police have confirmed a 29-year-old man is the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal after an alleged assault at a nightclub in Glasgow in the early hours of Monday morning.
The Motherwell ace, who has scored 26 goals so far this season, received his award at a ceremony at the Hilton hotel on Sunday evening.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "A 29-year-old man is the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal in connection with an alleged assault at a nightclub in Ingram Street in Glasgow at 1.25am today."
A press conference with Higdon, due to take place at 8.30am, was subsequently cancelled.
