Marco van Ginkel says a summer transfer is a possibility after the disappointment of Holland's European Under-21 Championship exit.

Small mistake

The 20-year-old says the Dutch squad will rally around team-mate van der Hoorn, who entered the fray in the 75th minute as a replacement for the injured Stefan De Vrij but was turned by Borini three minutes later for the game's decisive moment. "Mike came into the game, and then he wanted to cut in before the striker... it was a small mistake, and we'll take care of him," he added. Looking back on the team's run to the U21 Euro semi-finals, van Ginkel says he will take positives away from Israel. "The first two games we played really well. Against Spain, it was a little bit less but they're a good team. Now we have a holiday and we go on to next year."
