Forster has impressed since joining Celtic in 2010, initially on loan, from Newcastle United and has particularly caught the eye in the UEFA Champions League.
The England international has regularly been linked with a move away from Parkhead and Lennon would not be surprised if there is interest at the end of the season.
"We received no bids for Fraser in the January window," the Celtic boss is quoted as saying in the Sunday Mail.
"I think there will be something in the summer for him but he seems happy here and content.
"I wouldn't be surprised if something happens in the summer or we get offers then."
Lennon has also compared Forster favourably to former Celtic keeper Artur Boruc, who enjoyed five years as the Bhoys' No.1.
He added: "We've been lucky over the years to have two superb keepers in Artur Boruc and Fraser.
"We waited a long time for a world-class goalie then got one with Artur. You think it might be another long wait then Fraser comes along and progresses into a world-level goalkeeper.
"He has done amazing things here. Getting into the England squad and winning a cap while in Scotland speaks volumes for him.
"Everyone will have their own thoughts but I don't think there's too much between Artur at his peak and Fraser at his peak."
