Northampton have confirmed that striker David Moyo has signed a new one-year contract.

The 19-year-old follows team-mates Chris Hackett and Gregor Robertson in putting pen to paper on a new deal since the end of the season. "We are pleased as we feel David has got a bright future," said Town boss Chris Wilder. "There is more to come from him than supporters may have seen so far. "He's got pace which is frightening but we need to work on his skills and his technical ability. He's a great boy and he's willing to work and put the hours in. "He is working hard on his fitness and strength over the summer and he is looking forward to coming back to work with the rest of the lads towards the end of the month."
