Colchester have signed Rotherham right-back Richard Brindley on loan until the end of the season.
Brindley, who has made three appearances for the Millers this season, heads to the U's to help with their battle against relegation from League One. It is the 21-year-old's third loan spell of the campaign following previous stints at Scunthorpe and Oxford. His move to the Weston Homes Community Stadium is a return to his native area of the country after he grew up in Norwich and began his career at non-league Chelmsford City.
