Alessandro Matri made the briefest of appearances for AC Milan against Real Madrid on Wednesday.
With their International Champions Cup clash heading to penalties, coach Sinisa Mijhailovic decided to throw Matri on for the shoot-out.
It took a long time for the ball to go out of play and he was eventually introduced in the 94th minute – only to see the final whistle blown before he even reached the centre circle!
Fortunately, Matri justified coming on as he scored his penalty, although Real Madrid ended up winning the shoot-out 10-9 in China.
