ARSENAL
Best day of 2017/18
Arsenal gave Wenger a fitting send-off both on and off the pitch against Burnley, winning 5-0 on an emotional day at the Emirates Stadium.
Worst day of 2017/18
The 3-0 Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City was a bitter disappointment which underlined the gulf between Wenger's side and the elite.
BOURNEMOUTH
Best day of 2017/18
Bournemouth were excellent in their 2-1 win over Arsenal in January but they were even better when they stunned Chelsea with a 3-0 victory at Stamford Bridge two weeks later.
Worst day of 2017/18
The 4-1 loss to Huddersfield in February, when Howe made a public apology to the travelling fans for his side's dismal showing.
BRIGHTON
Best day of 2017/18
That 1-0 win over Manchester United which clinched survival at a buoyant Amex Stadium with two games remaining.
Worst day of 2017/18
They will be eager to forget their 3-2 defeat to arch-rivals Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in April.
BURNLEY
Best day of 2017/18
It has been a fantastic season for Burnley but perhaps the best result was still the first. The 3-2 win over defending champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, a game in which the Clarets were three up at half-time, hinted at what was to come.
Worst day of 2017/18
Manolo Gabbiadini's last-minute equaliser for Southampton at Turf Moor in February not only robbed Dyche's team of two points but it extended their winless run in all competitions to 12 games.
CHELSEA
Best day of 2017/18
The 2-1 win over Tottenham at Wembley back in August was a reminder of how they became champions last season.
Worst day of 2017/18
The 3-0 loss at home to Bournemouth in January was the start of the run which ultimately cost them a place in the top four.
CRYSTAL PALACE
Best day of 2017/18
The 5-0 home win over Leicester in April all but secured safety - and in style. Palace completely outplayed the Foxes and with five different goalscorers it was a result that underlined the complete turnaround under Hodgson.
Worst day of 2017/18
The 1-0 home defeat to Southampton in Hodgson's first game in charge back in September suggested that the new man would not be able to arrest the slide. Palace went on to lose the next two to the Manchester clubs and were pointless after seven games.
EVERTON
Best day of 2017/18
The 1-1 draw at Manchester City back in August did not feel particularly encouraging at the time as Everton conceded a late equaliser against 10 men. But it was the only one of City's first 20 Premier League games of the season that they did not win.
Worst day of 2017/18
The 4-1 defeat at Southampton in November came fresh off the back of a 5-1 home defeat to Atalanta and was a result that raised genuine fears of relegation. Even Unsworth, caretaker manager at the time, acknowledged that "things have to change quickly".
HUDDERSFIELD
Best day of 2017/18
The survival-clinching 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge, where Huddersfield held firm after Marcos Alonso had cancelled out Laurent Depoitre's unlikely opener.
Worst day of 2017/18
The 2-0 defeat to Everton at the end of April was a heavy blow which left Huddersfield in relegation trouble ahead of their final three games of the campaign.
LEICESTER
Best day of 2017/18
The recent 3-1 win over Arsenal, the only team they did not take points off in their famous title win, was an important one for Puel and saw Mahrez score in the last minute of what could very well be his final game as a Leicester player at the King Power Stadium.
Worst day of 2017/18
There was a lot of focus on the cups this season so Puel's decision to name Mahrez and Vardy among the substitutes for the Carabao Cup quarter-final against Manchester City was a source of frustration - especially when the tie was lost on penalties.
LIVERPOOL
Best day of 2017/18
Liverpool became the first team to beat Manchester City in the Premier League this season with a memorable 4-3 victory in January. Three of the goals came in a crazy second-half spell that proved a precursor to the Champions League triumph over Pep Guardiola's team.
Worst day of 2017/18
Everything seemed set up for Liverpool to go to Manchester United and outplay Jose Mourinho's men but their old rivals succeeded in stifling Salah while causing problems of their own. Marcus Rashford's capitalised on indecision at the back to earn a 2-1 win.
MAN CITY
Best day of 2017/18
The 1-0 win over Chelsea in September, when City comprehensively outplayed the champions on their own turf. It was landmark moment which hinted at what was to come.
Worst day of 2017/18
Throwing away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 to Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium, missing the chance to clinch the title against their arch-rivals.
MAN UTD
Best day of 2017/18
The 3-2 win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium allowed them to get one over on their rivals and avoid the nightmare scenario of watching them clinch the title against them.
Worst day of 2017/18
The 2-1 defeat to Sevilla in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie, when United were made to pay for their conservative approach.
NEWCASTLE
Best day of 2017/18
The 1-0 win over Manchester United in February was a sweet one for Benitez against his old foe Jose Mourinho but it was also their first home win in four months. The result lifted Newcastle out of the drop zone and the performance epitomised the spirit at the club.
Worst day of 2017/18
The 1-0 defeat to Arsenal just before Christmas was not the worst of results in isolation but it did represent the nadir for Newcastle. After 18 games and with only one point from the previous nine games, they were in the relegation zone and things looked bleak.
SOUTHAMPTON
Best day of 2017/18
The trip to Swansea was effectively a relegation play-off and Southampton deservedly won it 1-0 thanks to Manolo Gabbiadini's second-half strike. Hughes had to contend with the cancellation of the team hotel but he was bold in his substitutions and got the reward.
Worst day of 2017/18
It looked like being a fantastic day for Southampton when they went two up at home to Chelsea but a capitulation in the second half saw them beaten 3-2 and seemed to sum up why they were doomed. It left them five points behind Swansea with five games to play.
STOKE
Best day of 2017/18
Optimism was in the air back in August when Stoke beat Arsenal 1-0 in the opening home game of the season. Jese Rodriguez was the scorer of the goal and the loan signing from Paris Saint-Germain appeared to underline the ongoing progress being made by the club.
Worst day of 2017/18
There were lots of them. Heavy defeats and late goals conceded. But it was the 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace that confirmed Stoke's relegation as they surrendered a half-time lead in the process. It was a sorry way to end their 10-year stay in the Premier League.
SWANSEA
Best day of 2017/18
The 3-1 win over Arsenal at the end of January, at which point it seemed Carvalhal would keep them up.
Worst day of 2017/18
The 1-0 defeat to Southampton last week was a hammer blow to their survival prospects.
TOTTENHAM
Best day of 2017/18
Tottenham showed they belong among the European elite with their 3-1 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League group stage.
Worst day of 2017/18
The FA Cup semi-final loss to Manchester United was a bitter pill to swallow - especially after Dele Alli had given them an early lead.
WATFORD
Best day of 2017/18
The 2-1 win over Arsenal in October will live long in the memory but it's impossible to look beyond the 4-1 thrashing of Chelsea in February, when they blew Antonio Conte's side away with three goals in the final six minutes.
Worst day of 2017/18
The 3-2 loss to Everton in November, when they surrendered a two-goal lead amid speculation surrounding Marco Silva's future, conceding in injury time before Tom Cleverley missed a last-gasp penalty.
WEST BROM
Best day of 2017/18
Moore salvaged some pride with his late rally and there was no day better than the 1-0 win away to Manchester United in April. It was a reminder that these players have qualities and ensured that there was at least a happy memory or two for the supporters to enjoy.
Worst day of 2017/18
There were so many to choose from but the 2-1 home defeat to Burnley that finally saw Alan Pardew sacked was their ninth consecutive defeat in all competitions. If West Brom had picked up just one win from those games they could have taken the fight to the final day.
WEST HAM
Best day of 2017/18
The 1-0 win over London rivals Chelsea in December, when Marko Arnautovic's goal gave West Ham fans something to savour.
Worst day of 2017/18
The 3-0 loss at home to Burnley was the nadir. Angry supporters invaded the pitch and forced co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan to flee the directors' box.
