Striker hoping Huddersfield can maintain good form

Huddersfield Town striker Alan Lee is hoping to score his first goal since joining the club sooner rather than later. The Republic of Ireland international has come close on a number of occasions to notching his first goal since his August arrival from Crystal Palace. Lee has made 11 appearances for the Terriers since his move and says the lack of goals is not a major concern providing the team are winning. "I wouldn't change what I have done so far here, but I have hit the crossbar three times and had a perfectly good goal disallowed, so my first goal isn't too far away," Lee told skysports.com. "We had won six games and drawn one from the seven games that I had started before Saturday, so I wouldn't swap any goals to change that sort of form. "I am here to get promoted, not to see how many goals I can score, so winning is paramount and if I can grab a goal to make that happen then all the better." The Terriers lost for the fifth time this season at Plymouth on Saturday and, despite remaining in a strong position to challenge for promotion, Lee knows how difficult it will be for any side to dominate League One. He added: "We really feel that we can get the consistency right and when we play well we know that we can beat anyone. "We are working very hard to put a run together, but there are some very good sides in this division. "It looks like it could be a very good season for the neutral this year because there are so many clubs capable of winning the division."
