England tackle Brazil for the second time this year on Sunday as Roy Hodgson's men aim to follow up their 2-1 win at Wembley in February at the Maracana Stadium.
There will be crucial battles all over the pitch which could decide the outcome of the match. Here, Sky Sports looks at three key contests.
Wayne Rooney v Thiago Silva
Hodgson declared himself 'satisfied' with Rooney's performance against the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday, but the striker will want to end a turbulent season with a strong performance against Brazil. After a difficult year at Manchester United, Rooney looked a bit rusty on Wednesday and with his future uncertain a goal could put the unsettled 27-year-old in the shop window. However, Silva is considered one of the best defenders in the world and played a pivotal role in Paris St Germain's Ligue 1 title win this campaign so will be tough opposition for Rooney.
Michael Carrick v Oscar
Under Hodgson, Carrick is starting to establish himself in the centre of England's midfield after a fine season for Manchester United, where he scooped the players' player of the year award in a title-winning side. Carrick and Chelsea playmaker Oscar went head to head three times over the season, with their respective teams winning one each, so there is little between them, and Carrick will hope to put the shackles on the highly-rated 21-year-old. Oscar had a productive first season at Stamford Bridge, with his trickery and skill something Carrick and England will need to be wary of.
Gary Cahill v Neymar
Cahill returned to the England defence on Wednesday but will receive a much sterner test when he comes up against one of the hottest properties around in Neymar. The Chelsea defender recently starred in the Europa League final win against Benfica after a solid first full season at Stamford Bridge and has spoken of his desire to claim the double over Brazil. He will have to keep an eye on Neymar like he did at Wembley in February, although the striker will be eager to impress European audiences ahead of his move to Barcelona from Santos this summer.
