Kaka key to Milan success, says Brazilian's compatriot

Ronaldinho has urged AC Milan team-mate Kaka to snub a move to Manchester City. The Brazilian star is hoping his fellow countryman will stay in Italy to help establish Milan as a European giant once again. Kaka has been strongly linked with a lucrative move to Manchester City and it is yet known if he will make the switch to the Premier League. Ronaldinho, though, is urging the 26-year-old to stay in Serie A, admitting that losing a player of his calibre would be a "disaster" for the club.

Disaster

"The chance of Kaka leaving is a disaster because we need him desperately to win more titles at this club," said the former World Player of the Year. "I have known Ricky for some years and I am convinced that money will not be the major reason why he would leave Milan. "It is not up to the Milan players what he does but we are desperate for him to stay. "He seems very calm so I hope that is a sign he is staying."
Monster
Ronaldinho went on to praise his team-mate, saying he is a "monster" in football and essential to Milan's future success. "None of us wants him to leave," he added. "He is so important for us. "He will succeed wherever he goes because he is a monster in football. But he is a symbol of Milan. We need him to stay."
