Swansea full-back Neil Taylor admits he is impressed by the impact team-mate Andre Ayew has made in the Premier League.
Ayew joined Swansea following the expiry of his contract with Marseille last summer and scored his sixth Premier League goal in 13 games in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Bournemouth at the Liberty Stadium.
Three of those strikes came in Ayew's first four matches in a Swansea shirt and Taylor is thrilled with the Ghana international's overall contribution so far this term.
"Andre's [Ayew] been great and he's taken to this league brilliantly considering he's someone who came from the French league," Taylor told Sky Sports News HQ.
"We were surprised he could make the transition so quickly. Sometimes it can take time and players can find it difficult but that has not been the case for him at all.
"I think he's enjoying his football and like a lot of players who've come to Swansea he's settled in well and is scoring goals. Obviously that's great for him and great for us and we're all hoping he can continue doing that."
Swansea are 14th in the Premier League and have recorded just one victory in their last 10 games ahead of their visit to in-form Liverpool next Sunday.
But Wales international Taylor is confident Garry Monk's side can return to winning ways soon because of the talent and mindset of the players in the Swansea dressing-room.
"I think we all feel the responsibility [to try and get positive results]," Taylor said. "We're all players of a high enough level. We all need to be leaders on the pitch and we all need to get the results.
"When times are hard, you all need to rally around each other and obviously the boys that have been here a long time try to do that more. We know there is massive ability in our team and we just need to click again for that all to turn around.
"I think all football players go through bad spells and we're not getting the results we want as a club, but we'll turn it around as long as we stick together.
"At a club like Swansea, we do that anyway. We lock down, we make sure we have everything in order and we quietly try and go about our business on the football pitch."
