Oumar Niasse's future at Everton appears to be over before it has even begun after being omitted from pre-season friendly squad.

The 26-year-old striker, who only signed from Lokomotiv Moscow for some £13.5m in the winter transfer window, has not been included in the squad for upcoming friendlies in Germany.

He has not featured in the squad for friendlies against Barnsley or MK Dons over the last week but is not currently listed as injured by the club.

In fact the Senegal international has played just 45 minutes of a behind-closed-doors match during the club's Austrian training camp.

Niasse has managed just 152 minutes of competitive football since becoming Everton's third most expensive player on February 1.

There have been reports in the north west that Fenerbahce have expressed an interest in taking the striker on loan.
