Bob Bradley calls for Swansea supporters' help in relegation battle

Bob Bradley has admitted Swansea are in a relegation battle - and he wants the fans to help them get out of it.
The Swans' new American boss oversaw a 3-2 defeat at Arsenal in his first match in charge but he is convinced his side can enjoy an upturn in fortunes against Watford this weekend with home support behind them.
He said: "If you look at the way the team has played in recent years, you can easily say this is a team that has shown itself to be a mid-table-type team with the possibility of being in the top 10.
"And I'm hoping as we continue to work every week, that can eventually be a goal again. It's not as if that idea has been forgotten. But I know the history, I know how important it is to be in the Premier League.
"Whether we're in a relegation fight for two more weeks, six more weeks, it depends. If we can start winning games it won't be a question, but in the meantime it's our job to get on a run and re-establish ourselves."
Last weekend's loss at the Emirates was a fifth consecutive defeat for the Swans who have not won in the league since the opening day at Burnley.
Bradley added: "We are in it together. I'm not the one to stand in front of the bench and take the flag every time. I consider if we work the right way and understand what they [the fans] are looking for and we get that part right, it speaks for itself.
"But every now and again it's good to remember this is important. And this is an important home match and, to everyone at the Liberty on Saturday - we absolutely need you.
"It's about being able to do two things, can we continue to improve ourselves and make our football, mentality and intensity better and eliminate the mistakes?
"The clear short-term goal is to make sure we are picking up the right points when the opportunities are there and continue to say that we are going to be a really good team."
Following the weekend game, Swansea have matches against Stoke, Manchester United, Everton and Crystal Palace before the end of November.
