Manchester City and Chelsea are set to learn if they face further FA disciplinary action in the fallout from Saturday's fiery fixture.

Sergio Aguero's wild tackle on David Luiz in City's 3-1 defeat to Chelsea earned the Argentine a red card and sparked a mass scuffle involving players and staff from both sides at the Etihad.

Fernandinho was also dismissed for grabbing Cesc Fabregas by the throat in the resulting melee and is set to earn a three-match ban, while Aguero faces four games on the touchline having already served a three-match suspension earlier this season for elbowing Winston Reid.

Aguero will miss fixtures against Leicester, Watford, Arsenal and Hull, but City manager Pep Guardiola was keen to move on from the incident, saying "we are going to accept the ban and keep going".
