Bayern Munich have moved swiftly to replace Swansea City-bound assistant manager Paul Clement.

Sky Sports News HQ reported on Monday that Clement had agreed to take over from sacked head coach Bob Bradley at the Liberty Stadium after the Bundesliga club allowed them permission to speak to him.

And Bayern confirmed on Tuesday that former assistant Hermann Gerland had been appointed as Carlo Ancelotti's No 2.

Gerland came through the ranks on Bayern's reserve team coaching staff and also worked as assistant to Ancelotti's predecessors Louis van Gaal, Jupp Heynckes and Pep Guardiola.
