Swansea manager Paul Clement has admitted the club are interested in signing PSV Eindhoven winger Luciano Narsingh - but has denied a deal has been agreed.

Reports in the Welsh press last week claimed that a deal has been done for the 26-year-old and can be finished if Clement wants him.

And the new Swans boss told Sky Sports News HQ: "He is a player we are aware of but no decisions have been made on ins or outs.

Paul Clement says Alan Curtis will not be part of first-team coaching staff

"When we played against him with Bayern, he scored in the game in Holland. We are aware of his talent but nothing more than that at the moment."

Clement has admitted the need to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window but insists he will make further assessments of his current crop before deciding on targets.

"I'm very conscious that the window is open and it shuts at the end of this month, so if we want to do anything we need to start making moves," he said.
