Marouane Fellaini headed straight for Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho following his goal in the 2-0 win over Hull.
Fellaini, brought on as a second-half substitute, saw his looping header drop in to give Manchester United a healthy lead in their EFL Cup semi-final first leg against Hull, and the Belgium international had someone to thank.
He made a beeline for Mourinho, giving him a huge hug on the sideline, presumably as a thanks for the faith he has shown in him at United this season.
There was less celebrating for United's first goal of the night, Juan Mata's far post nod in the 56th minute, with Mourinho urging his players to get back and continue to play as soon as possible after taking the lead
He said after the game: "In cup ties every goal can be crucial and why celebrate when you have half an hour to play? I don't think so. I think there is no reason for a celebration with the first goal."
