Scott Hogan set for Aston Villa as £12m bid accepted by Brentford - Sky sources

Scott Hogan is due at Aston Villa for a medical after Brentford accepted a bid of around £9m rising to £12m, Sky sources say.

Villa emerged as favourites for 24-year-old Hogan's signature early on Deadline Day when it became clear West Ham's interest in the striker was over.

Rochdale are due a cut of their former player's transfer fee, understood to be 30 per cent, should the deal go through before Tuesday night's 11pm cut-off point.

And Bilic said: "I believe that we have really good strikers in our squad and that's why we won't have a Hogan deal.
