Manchester City are awaiting the scan results of Gabriel Jesus after he injured his foot in the 2-0 win at Bournemouth on Monday Night Football.
Brazilian striker Jesus, who has scored three times since arriving at City in January, went down clutching his right foot after chasing a through ball from Raheem Sterling on the edge of the box.
Jesus appeared to sustain the knock after an earlier challenge by Simon Francis and was replaced by Sergio Aguero in the 13th minute.
And City manager Pep Guardiola said he would be praying that the 19-year-old's injury was not too serious.
"Tomorrow morning we will know exactly (about Jesus' injury), but in that case we were so, so unfortunate," Guardiola told Sky Sports.
"Hopefully we are going to pray tonight that it is not going to be a big issue."
Sterling's sixth goal of the season and an own-goal by Tyrone Mings secured the win for City, who closed the gap on Premier League leaders Chelsea to eight points as a result.
