Bournemouth are assessing Jack Wilshere's ankle injury after he was forced off in Monday's 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.
Wilshere - on a season-long loan from Arsenal - hobbled off shortly before half-time at the Vitality Stadium after he was hurt as he blocked a shot from David Silva and was replaced by Benik Afobe.
It was the second early change Eddie Howe was forced to make after captain Simon Francis had to be replaced by Tyrone Mings in the 23rd minute after he pulled a hamstring.
Francis has now undergone a scan and is awaiting the results to find out the grade of the tear.
Raheem Sterling's sixth goal of the season and an own-goal by Mings secured the win for City. The result leaves Bournemouth 14th in the Premier League, just six points above the relegation zone.
