Oumar Niasse has not ruled out a permanent move to Hull after his match-winning performance against relegation rivals Swansea rekindled their Premier League survival bid.

The Tigers had slipped four points from safety after winning only one of their previous six league games before Saturday's 2-1 victory at the KCOM Stadium.

Senegalese striker Niasse, who joined on loan from Everton in January, broke the deadlock for Hull six minutes after stepping off the bench just after the hour-mark and added a decisive second with 12 minutes remaining.

Swansea defender Alfie Mawson's stoppage-time header was too little too late for Paul Clement's side and Niasse was left to reflect on another giant stride for Hull and himself as he fights to resurrect his own career.

"It's going to depend on my performances," said the 26-year-old when asked if his future depended on whether Hull can stay up.

"But I think now the focus is to play the good football, to try to help the club stay in the league."

Niasse failed to score in seven appearances for Everton, who signed him from Lokomotiv Moscow in a £13.5million deal in February 2016, and finished up playing in the Merseysiders' U23s after being told he did not figure in their plans.

"It was a difficult time at Everton," he said. "I was like standing in the dressing room with the U23s playing with them, travelling with them all the time.

"It was difficult, but I always kept smiling and always kept a positive mind to start again.

"But it's also a little bit complicated because of the position of [Hull], but we have to enjoy the football.

"If we enjoy the football, the rest can come. We have had luck [against Swansea], but the positive thoughts we have are going to make us happy and feel like we can win some points."
