Before we talk about the north London derby, I'll reflect on England's game with Germany where Gareth Southgate fielded five debutants in one match. That's the most since November 14, 2012 when Roy Hodgson gave debuts to six players: Steven Caulker (who scored), Leon Osman, Raheem Sterling, Carl Jenkinson, Ryan Shawcross and Wilfried Zaha (who has since aligned himself with Ivory Coast).
England failed to score for the first time since they lost 1-0 in Germany in March. They've played seven times in between.
Germany / West Germany are still unbeaten at Wembley since 1975 when they lost 2-0. If you count the Euro 96 semi-final as a Germany win, then Friday night ended a run of six straight Wembley defeats for England against them. However, England did beat East Germany at Wembley in 1984.
Eric Dier became England's 120th captain and the sixth under Southgate in 13 matches. His record ahead of the Brazil game is P13 W7 D4 L2.

MARTIN SAYS: Tottenham's current boss has yet to taste defeat in six Premier League north London derbies against Arsenal, which includes three consecutive 1-1 draws at The Emirates since he replaced Tim Sherwood in 2014. However, he did lose to Arsenal in the League Cup in September 2015.
This makes him the only full-time Spurs manager to have managed more than one north London derby in the Premier League and remain unbeaten. Gerry Francis deserves a mention for his efforts against Arsenal, losing just one of his seven meetings with the Gunners.
To answer the original question, there's many ways to interpret the word 'best' but in terms of win ratio, Harry Redknapp actually boasts the highest percentage. In eight north London derby encounters, Redknapp proved to be a bit of a thorn in Wenger's side with a 37 per cent win ratio, which trumps Pochettino's 33 per cent.

MARTIN SAYS: Kane has scored six goals in six Premier League appearances in north London derbies, including netting in the last five consecutive meetings.
Interestingly, if he finds the net again on Saturday, he'll become the first player to score in six consecutive league matches against Wenger - former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink managed five in a row between 1997 and 2000.
However, Kane still has some way to go to become the all-time leading Premier League scorer against Wenger's Arsenal.
That achievement is currently held by Wayne Rooney, who has scored 12 times against Arsenal, including the opening goal for Everton in this season's meeting which the Gunners ended up winning 5-2 and his famous first ever Premier League goal as a 16-year-old.

MARTIN SAYS: You are completely correct about the attacking heritage of this fixture, Arsenal v Tottenham sits joint fifth in the list of highest scoring Premier League fixtures with a return of 141 goals. It will jump to the top of the list - above Arsenal v Everton and Liverpool v Tottenham - if Saturday's match produces five goals or more.
Interestingly out of the top 10 highest scoring fixtures, Arsenal or Spurs feature seven times suggesting north London is the place to watch entertaining football matches. We've seen a couple of 0-0s this season in our big televised games, but this fixture has only finished goalless once in the last 50 fixtures.
Whether it's brilliance by David Bentley or heroics from Thierry Henry, there have been some magical moments over the years - let's hope Saturday's clash produces similar levels of sporting theatre!

Arsenal fan here: I'm worried about Tottenham winning a penalty on Saturday - Petr Cech just can't save them. How long has it been since he stopped one? (Ant, London)
MARTIN SAYS: Cech has actually never saved a penalty for Arsenal in the Premier League. It's an unwanted run which was stretched to 13 attempts by Sergio Aguero in the recent 3-1 defeat at Manchester City. In those 13 penalties, he has only dived the right way three times.
Aguero's effort from 12 yards was the second penalty Cech has conceded this season having watched Troy Deeney score past him for Watford. The last Premier League penalty he saved (not missed by the taker) came all the way back in 2011 - 18 penalties ago - when Clint Dempsey was denied by Cech for Chelsea in a 0-0 draw against Fulham.
The last penalty he did save in all competitions save came in the Champions League in 2014, denying Agim Ibraimi of Maribor in a game Chelsea won 6-0. He was also the hero of the 2012 final when he saved from Arjen Robben in extra-time and penalties from Ivica Olic and Bastian Schweinsteiger in the shoot-out.
However, when the game kicks-off on Saturday, it will have been 2,469 days or 59,256 hours since Cech saved a penalty in the Premier League.
