The race for the Premier League top four was also on the agenda, with the panel discussing who could make the cut and who could miss out on a Champions League spot.
At the other end of the table, there is also a struggle to stay out of the relegation places, with Smith and Strachan offering their views on who could be playing in the Sky Bet Championship next season.
