Barcelona are closing in on the signing of Gremio midfielder Arthur. Barca's technical secretary Robert Fernandez has been in Madrid since Saturday to try and close the deal. What's more, Andre Cury, a member of Barca's scouting team, has been in contact with Gremio about a move to Barcelona for Arthur in the New Year. (Mundo Deportivo)

Cesar Azpilicueta says Andres Iniesta is unlikely to get a warm welcome when he lines up for Barcelona against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The midfielder scored a late goal in 2009 to send Barca through to the Champions League final after a controversial refereeing display saw Chelsea denied a number of penalty claims. "I think Andres continues giving the Chelsea fans nightmares and I don't believe he'll be well received," Azpilicueta said. (AS)

Eden Hazard says he'll leave Chelsea when he wants to, but insists he is happy at Stamford Bridge at the moment. "I still have two-and-a-half years left on my contract," he said. "I feel very good over here. The fans love me, my family enjoys life over here. We'll see. In football anything can happen, but in football nothing can happen. Sampdoria director Daniele Prade has confirmed that left-back Ivan Strinic, who will be out on contract in June, is on AC Milan's radar.
