Tony Mowbray is keen to keep Sherjill MacDonald and Bostjan Cesar at West Brom beyond this season.

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray admits he is keen to keep Sherjill MacDonald and Bostjan Cesar at The Hawthorns beyond this season.
MacDonald's current 12-month loan deal from Dutch outfit AGOVV Apeldoorn is due to end in January, while Cesar is on a season-long loan deal from French side Marseille.
Dutch Under 21 winger MacDonald has become a regular on the first-team bench but Mowbray says he has the "raw potential" to make it big with the Midlands club.
And the coach has confirmed he plans to hold talks with Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace about securing the 23-year-old on a permanent deal.
Potential
Mowbray told the
Birmingham Mail: "I've talked about him a lot - he's not the finished article but he has the potential to be anything he wants to be.
"I'll talk things through with the chairman when the time is right and I would hope something will be put in place because of the raw potential that the boy possesses."
Mowbray also confirmed he hoped to extend Cesar's stay as West Brom maintain their charge for a return to the top flight.
Valuable
The Slovenia international has established himself as a key figure in the Baggies defence and the West Brom boss believes he would be a valuable acquisition.
"Bostjan's just enjoying playing football," added Mowbray.
"If the right contract offer is on the table for him, if both parties are happy, I don't see any reason why something can't be put in place.
"But at the moment it's not at the forefront of my mind. I want him to keep doing what he's doing."
