Rennes full-back Rod Fanni has declared his interest to play in England, with Everton reportedly interested.
The 27-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Newcastle last summer only for the France international to eventually leave Nice for Rennes.
Fanni has won international recognition with France this season after starting at right-back in their recent matches against Tunisia and Uruguay.
Although Everton manager David Moyes' immediate concerns revolve around bolstering his strike force in the New Year, he could decide to put together a January bid for the talented Fanni.
Seen him in action
Fanni has confirmed scouts have been to see him in action this term, although no bids have been tabled for his services.
"If I leave Rennes, my priority is to go to England," Fanni told the Sun.
"I know some scouts have seen me this season but personally I have not received any offer yet."
