Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has insisted he is not frustrated about the club's protracted pursuit of Zenit St Petersburg playmaker Andrei Arshavin.
The Gunners have held talks with the Russian club this transfer window, with agreement over the player's fee proving a sticking point.
Latest reports suggest Zenit have until Monday to decide whether to accept the Gunners' final offer, which is thought to be in the region of £15million.
Wenger is remaining calm over the lack of progress, while he has vented his anger over the system of a winter transfer window.
Disturbing
The Frenchman said on
Sky Sports News: "There is no news. You know that I am against the transfer window, completely.
"I think it is just disturbing. A window in the middle of the season is just not right.
"With Arshavin it is different because he plays in a league where it is the end of the season.
"You either keep it open completely, or you shut it completely and the teams that make mistakes at the start of the season are punished until the end of the season.
Two per cent
"I am more focused to do well with the players I have than be focused on the players I can buy and not buy.
"It is two per cent of my worries. If I can add somebody, then why not. But I believe in the players I have.
"I am not frustrated because I understand it is down to the agreement of three parties when you want to buy a player."
